WHEREAS, Johne's Disease is a threat and can be detected through testing.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT:

RESOLVED, that the Minnesota Milk Producers Association requests that the state and federal governments provide full funding for the cost of a voluntary testing program with the goal of establishing Minnesota as a Johne's-free state.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the state of Minnesota continue the Johne’s testing program and explore the development of a Johnes disease vaccination program.
