Thursday, February 20 (Sedona/ Grand Canyon)
Dinner Included  
 
Direct Flight to Phoenix
  • Fly direct with Delta Airlines at 7:00 AM from Minneapolis/St. Paul and arrive in Phoenix at 9:35 AM.
  • Board charter bus transportation.
Sedona - “Arizona’s Scenic Sensation”
  • Enjoy leisure time for shopping, sightseeing and lunch.
  • Afterwards, set out for one of America’s most beautiful drives as you journey through Oak Creek Canyon, home to brilliantly hued cliffs and rugged spires of sandstone.
Grand Canyon - one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World
  • Arrive and check-in at Grand Canyon NP Lodges, Maswik South.
  • Welcome dinner.
 
 Friday, February 21  (Grand Canyon/ Flagstaff)

 Grand Canyon
  •  Early birds can greet the day with a brilliant sunrise at the canyon’s rim.
  • A guided tour teaches you about the Grand Canyon’s geology and how it was carved by nature over the course of nearly 2 billion years.
  • Take scenic Hermit Road, with stops along the way revealing extraordinary views of the deep inner gorge and numerous red buttes and ravines.
  • Hike down part of Bright Angel Trail before departing.
 Flagstaff Brewing Company
  •  Stop for a late lunch and beer tasting at a local brewery.
 Phoenix/ Mesa
  •  Arrive late and check-in at the Phoenix Marriott Mesa Hotel in Mesa.
 Saturday, February 22  (Mesa/ Dairy Tours)

 Shamrock Dairy Tour
  • Has open lots with Shadetracker cooling fans in their barns and milks 8,000 cows.
  • Raises all calves and heifers.
  • This location has a conventional dairy as well as an organic dairy facility.
  • Shamrock Foods is a major milk processor in the Phoenix area and has national reach.
  • Shamrock Foods is the sole milk supplier for Subway restaurants.
  • Interactive tour facility on-site mainly geared toward school children.
 T&K Red River Dairy  
  • Milks 10,000 cows in Saudi style open lot barns with Korral Kool cooling systems.
  • One of the longest parallel parlors in the country.
  • The Dugan family relocated from Wisconsin to Arizona in the 1960's.
  • Raise all of their own bull calves through finish in feedlot.
  • Farms 11,000 acres and has a custom harvest business.
  • Unique feed mixing and commodity area delivering over 1 million pounds feed per day.
 
Lunch with Local Dairy Producers  
  •  Enjoy lunch with our farm hosts and other leaders from the United Dairymen of Arizona.
 

  Free Time

  •  The afternoon and evening  is free to explore Historic Downtown Mesa or relax at the hotel.
 
 Sunday, February 23  (Tucson)

 Pima Air & Space Museum
  • One of the largest air and space museums in the world with 80 acres and 100 years of aviation history!
  • You’ll see more than 300 aircraft and spacecraft including many of the most historically significant and technically advanced craft ever produced, both from the United States and throughout the world.
 Choice of Old Tucson Studios or Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum  
 A minimum of 20 participants is needed at each tour. If the minimum is not met, everyone will attend the same tour.  
  •  Old Tucson Studios is the premier attraction in the Southwest to experience what life in Old West was really like. Just a stroll down the street is an adventure.
  • The setting for the more than 300 movies and television productions filmed at the location since 1939.
  • Enjoy world famous stunt shows, gunfights, and high kickin’ saloon girls in musical revues along with unique shops and restaurants, horseback rides, a vintage carousel and more!
  •  The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a world-renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden, all in one place!
  • Exhibits re-create the natural landscape of the Sonoran Desert Region so realistically you find yourself eye-to-eye with mountain lions, prairie dogs, Gila monsters, and more.
  • Within the Museum grounds, you will see more than 300 animal species and 1,200 kinds of plants.
 Farewell Dinner  
  •  Live entertainment at Arizona’s legendary cowboy steak house, Rustler’s Rooste, atop a butte in the foothills of South Mountain.
 
   
 Monday, February 24 (Leisure/ Departure)

  •  The morning is free to explore Historic Old-town Mesa or relax at the hotel.
