Federal Farm Bill Policy Recommendations
Minnesota Milk's Federal Farm Bill policy recommendations are based on four key principles:
1. The Farm Bill should include policies that encourage stewardship of the land, water, air and wildlife.
2. The Farm Bill should include policies that foster the health and well-being of the people who live on the land, in communities across America.
3. The Farm Bill should provide an effective safety net for farmers.
4. The Farm Bill should give opportunity to young and beginning producers while being fair to all producers.

Minnesota Milk's legislative initiatives for the 2008 Minnesota Legislature include:
