What to Expect:

1. Friendly conversations with legislators and regulators making decisions that affect your business.

2. A well-coordinated day with opportunities to network, better your business, and learn about state government and   policy.

3. No previous knowledge required—come willing to share what you know, or show up for the 9:30 a.m. “How to talk to legislators” session to learn about this year’s issues.


What we’re fighting for:

A. Rebates on Dairy Margin Coverage insurance to ensure Minnesota’s farmers can sign up for the new Farm         Bill program
B. Conservation Payments to help farmers enter conservation programs in 2019 to reward them for their work
C. Long-term tax help through Section 199A deduction conformity
D. Tell legislators what a higher fuel tax will mean to your farm


How to get there:

Register (see bold above and left) and we will help find rideshare transportation. Feel free to come for the whole day or just noon and beyond; we need you to share your story!


Activities include:

10:00 to 11:00  a.m. Welcome and Registration

Enjoy conversation with fellow dairy farmers, industry professionals, and legislators. We’ll also provide a “How to talk to legislators” session at 10:30 a.m.


11:00 to 5:00 p.m. Meetings with Legislators
