June 15 - Minneapolis to Syracuse, N.Y.

Meet at the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport for your non-stop flight to Syracuse (MSP SYR 7:45 p.m. - 11:01 p.m.). You will arrive at the Syracuse airport and transfer to your hotel, the Maplewood Suites in Liverpool, N.Y.


June 16 – Finger Lakes Area
After breakfast, depart to the Cayuga Ingredients Plant for a tour. Take a journey back in time as you walk through the Ward O’Hara Agricultural and Country Living Museum. Enjoy a box lunch as you make your way into the heart of the Finger Lakes dairy region and Sunnyside Farms for a tour. Next, a visit to Fessenden Dairy, a sixth-generation farm owned and operated for over 150 years. After that, you will travel to Waterloo and check in to the Holiday Inn for a 3-night stay. (Continental Breakfast & Boxed Lunch Included)


June 17 – Ithaca & Cornell
Depart the hotel after breakfast for Cornell University and learn about their acclaimed Department of Animal Science. After lunch on your own in Ithaca, head to Frontenac Point Vineyard for a tour and tasting, and on to Taughannock Falls State Park. Dinner this evening will be at Parker’s Grill in Seneca Falls. (Breakfast & Dinner Included)


June 18 – Finger Lakes Area
Start the morning off with a tour of Hemdale Farm in Seneca Castle. Then, take a walk through production at the Montezuma Winery & Distillery and delight in a tasting. After lunch, you will tour the Scipio Springs Dairy and the Seward House Museum.
This evening enjoy a dinner cruise on Skaneateles Lake. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)


June 19 – Niagara Falls
After breakfast, depart for Buffalo, N.Y. You will meet your guide in Niagara Falls, N.Y. for a guided tour and sightseeing including the Maid of the Mist Boat tour, viewing of the falls from United States and Canadian sides. Lunch will be a buffet at the Sheraton Fallsview restaurant. Dinner at the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery in the Erie Canal District of Buffalo, take time to explore this historic building built in 1841. Overnight at the Courtyard by Marriott Buffalo airport. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)


June 20 – Buffalo to Minneapolis
Transfer to the Buffalo airport for your early morning return flight to Minneapolis/ St. Paul airport (BUF MSP 7:00 a.m. - 8:12 a.m.). (Continental Breakfast Included)



Fessenden Dairy – A 600-cow dairy that composts solids for bedding and also sells compost off the farm for landscapers.


Sunnyside Farms – A 3,400-cow dairy with a new 100-stall rotary installed in 2014.


Hemdale Farm – A 1,000-cow dairy with 17 robots.


Taughannock Falls State Park – 215-foot falls in a .75 –mile-long glen with sides rising from 350 to 400 feet.


Montezuma Winery & Distillery – Montezuma Winery, Martin’s Honey Farm and
Meadery, and Hidden Marsh Distillery have been awarded numerous awards including
Gold, Double Gold, Best of Class, Best Fruit wine and Commercial Mead Champion. Our wine list off ers a range from dry to sweet, and includes Riesling, Blueberry, Rhubarb and our most popular, Cranberry Bog.


Seward House Museum – was home of the secretary of state under Presidents
Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson. It contains original family furnishings, decorative arts and mementos of William H. Seward’s career, including a painting depicting Seward’s negotiations for the purchase of Alaska.

**In consideration of itinerary, it is suggested participants be 18 or older.

**A passport is required for the trip since a portion of the Niagara Falls trip will take place on the Canadian side.
