Minnesota Milk’s emphasis on government policy, producer education, and membership opportunities, has provided a stable and consistent framework for MN’s dairy industry to continue to look for ways to grow and prosper both domestically and globally. As a critical driver behind important initiatives that support growth, the MMPA is playing an important role in helping build a strategic long-term plan to enhance Minnesota’s dairy economy.

Ron and his wife Jeannie have two daughters, Brooke,(Jake) and Trista, (Ryan), and two grandchildren Asher and Maxwell. Farm near Little Falls, in partnership with his brother Marvin, daughter Brooke and her husband Jacob Carrow. The family’s 1,800 cow herd grew from a tie-stall barn into a free-stall parlor facility in the year 2000, and then added a cross-ventilated barn in 2007.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota’s College of Agriculture, Served on Local Planning and Zoning, Parish Council, Start up board for Local Ethanol board, Soil & Water board, and member of numerous local coops. Ron enjoys time with the Lord, singing, skiing and touring the paths in the woods.
