Dairy Day at the Capitol

Join Minnesota Milk for our annual Dairy Day at the Capitol. We will set up meetings with your legislators for those pre-registered. A light coffee, milk and donuts breakfast, lunch and late afternoon reception are included.
This event is free for MMPA producer members.
What to Expect
- Friendly conversations with legislators and regulators making decisions that affect your business. Review Minnesota Milk’s initiatives for 2020.
- A well-coordinated day with opportunities to network, better your business, and learn about state government and policy.
- No previous knowledge required—come willing to share what you know.
How to get there
Register and we will help find rideshare transportation. Feel free to come for the whole day or just noon and beyond; we need you to share your story!

Welcome and Registration – Room 400N
Enjoy conversation with fellow dairy farmers, industry professionals, and legislators. We’ll also provide a “How to talk to legislators” and issues briefing session at 9:30 a.m.
10:30–3:00 p.m.
Meetings with Legislators

3:30 p.m.
Debrief
Share with fellow attendees your experience at this year’s Dairy Day at the Capitol.
4:00–5:30 p.m.
Reception with legislators and staff – Best Western Plus Capitol Ridge
